Say goodbye to the same old egg omelet and try this Korean egg roll. This is again one of the meals that I would highly recommend for your growing kids as this egg roll is nothing but energy and nutrients. Especially if you are off the carbs; then, this Korean egg roll can prove to be just the perfect breakfast or snack for you.
Making this roll is easier than most snacks; all you need to learn is how to roll it while cooking and adding more batter. Once you have tried this practice, it gets all easier. I know even when the first time I tried to make this roll, it turned out to be a disaster as I wasn’t able to roll it perfectly, but with the practice now I can make it like a pro, and soon you will too.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Eggs
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • tbsp Onion (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Carrot (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Mixed Paprika (chopped)
  • Cooking oil (for brushing)

Instructions
 

Make the batter:

  • Whisk eggs with black pepper, salt, onion, carrots and paprika in a bowl just until mixed.
    5 Eggs, ½ tsp Black Pepper, ½ tsp Salt, 1½ tbsp Onion, 2 tbsp Carrot, 3 tbsp Mixed Paprika

Fry the Batter and Fold:

  • Grease a medium-sized skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 egg batter into the pan and cook it until it is set, then roll this egg omelet from one side towards another side. Pour another ¼ of the egg batter into the free space in the pan.

  • Let this layer set then roll the already rolled egg layer from one side to the other. Continue adding the remaining batter and rolling the omelet.

Cook Properly and Serve:

  • Cook this egg roll for 2 minutes per side until golden brown in color.
  • Slice in the same size and serve warm.

Notes

  • Always use a thin-edged spatula to roll the egg omelet and wait till the lower side of the egg is set.
  • Keep the heat low, so that you would get sufficient time to handle your omelet. Take all the time you need to roll the egg.
