Why would we go outside and wait in lines just to get a delicious burger, when we can make it even better at home? I call this homemade burger a full boost of nutrients. It has no conventional burger filling, but it tastes so good and also serves all the nutrients and calories. Instead of using a meat Pattie, I will be using an egg filling, which is coupled with two slices of salami and a slice of cheese.
In vegetables, I have only used a single leave of lettuce, but you can always experiment with different combinations and try new flavors. To prepare this burger, the only major step is to cook the egg and sear the salami. The rest is just assembling the ingredients inside the English muffin.

Prepare the Stuffing:

  • Prepare the egg by melting butter in a skillet and placing a steel mold in the pan. Crack on the egg in this mold and let it set. Add ¼ cup o water around the mold and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for 5 minutes, remove the egg from the pan and leave it aside.
½ tsp Butter, 1 Egg, Salt, ¼ cup Water, Black Pepper

Prepare the Burger:

  • Now sear the salami slices and melt butter in the pan. Place the salami in the butter and sear for 1 minute per side. Toast the bread in the same pan.
1 tsp Butter, 1 slices Salami

Garnish and Serve:

  • Place egg on the lower half of the bread, and top it with a cheese slice, 2 salami slices, lettuce, and mayonnaise. Then top it with the upper half of the bread.
1 slice Cheese, 1 Baby Lettuce Leave, 1 tbsp Mayonnaise, 1 English Muffins
  • Serve warm.

  • If you are packing this burger in a lunch box, then insert a toothpick at the center of the burger to keep all the layers in their position.
  • If you like some ketchup in your burger, then add no more than a tsp of ketchup along with mayonnaise.
